Working on Nebula4 Convolution Reverb plug-in
I am working on a new reverb plug-in! More precisely it will be a library for Acustica Audio’s N4 and the free N4 Player. This will be a crowd funded project, yes! So updates will soon follow. These days I spend most of my time working on it and it is sounding sweet! In the last couple of days I have been experimenting with controlled explosions, starter pistol shots, bursting balloons and condoms, looking in to spark gap generators, etc. to find the most suitable alternatives to a loudspeaker as a source for the sampling process. For a first time I am super excited about the sound of a convolution reverb and the way I can capture real room acoustics. This thanks for Acustica’s nonlinear Volterra series convolution tech and my recording skills. Below is a post I shared in Facebook with lots of ideas and some details, a picture gallery and a video with the first preview of the library. With the help of the free N4 Player people will be able to buy just my library and use it as a fully functional skinned plug-in under this awesome platform. More info to follow!
